Chlamydia Treatment

If you discover that you have chlamydia, it doesn't go away, and only gets worse over time.
Contact with the chlamydia infection can cause eye infections (conjunctivitis). Gonorrhea and chlamydia are associated with a form of arthritis called septic arthritis, and Reiter's Syndrome, which can include reactive arthritis.
Complications among men are rare. Infection sometimes spreads to the epididymis (a tube that carries sperm from the testis), causing pain, swelling, fever, and, rarely, sterility. This is called epididymitis.
Use the resources on this site to seek testing and treatment right away. The sooner you're treated, the more likely it is that you'll avoid serious complications.
